Julia Prisyazhnyuk – Director

Julia has experience in caring for children from the moment they are born. Julia has tried herself in the hospitality field, but her love and passion for kids has always pulled her back into child care, where she found herself fulfilled. Caring for children has been a big part of her life and that is where she found herself truly happy. Her kids, growing up in Russia and United States, have been exposed to different child care services, public and private, at home and in centers, in small and large groups. By being exposed to these different settings, Julia was able to see positive and negative aspects of each child care. All that experience inspired her to open a child care of her own.

Julia holds a B.A. in Oriental Studies, with a specialization as an Economist and Translator in Korean and English from the Far Eastern Federal University in Russia. She also earned a Master of Science in Hospitality Management from Cal Poly Pomona. She has Musical Education, specializing in piano, and has experience teaching piano lessons. She is currently enrolled in the Infant/Toddler Montessori Training Program, which is an in-depth learning of the Montessori Method.

Julia is a mother of three wonderful kids: her oldest son, who is 15 years old, a 7-year-old son, and a daughter who is only 5 years old. These kids are the biggest inspiration and pride in her life.

Ms. Summer – Teacher

My name is Ms. Summer. I was born in Vietnam but spent time in California and Hawaii.
I graduated from The Open University with a degree in Marketing Research. I also have my Early Childhood Education credentials. I have started my training and my goal is to obtain my Montessori credential soon.
I have been teaching children for over eight years now. I love teaching because I am inspired by watching children grow! They are each unique individuals and can also work together as a team.
I think education is the most challenging and important profession in the world, and I am humbled by my responsibilities as a teacher.

Other fun facts about me:
• I have a husband named Eric, who is also a teacher. He saw my love for children and encouraged me to try teaching. I have a Corgi named Lilo that keeps me very busy.
• I like to explore nature by hiking and traveling to National Parks. I also like yoga, cooking, and taking Lilo to the dog park.

The greatest development is achieved during the first years of life, and therefore it is then that the greatest care should be taken. If this is done, then the child does not become a burden; he will reveal himself as the greatest marvel of nature.
